KSAM, at least as far back as I can remember (the grey matter is working
much better today, thanks)... was always included with FOS, although it did
have its own product number.

I always looked at that product number as a "part number" which was part of
the Bill of Materials that made up a FOS tape :)  Nope - never had to order
KSAM separately.
