Ah, interesting. Well, probably not for me personally (as I lack C++ as
well as CORBA expertise; it was already quite a lot of work when I did
play with the OpenLDAP port just for curiousity and that was not C++ but
only a total LDAP beginner's experience ;-) but I hope someone else will
pick it up and give it a try.

Or maybe join you and fund a team for giving it a shot.
