Miguel,

I would suggest you start with simply one line in your NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS
file.  It should look something like...
        999    (network_address =  172.1.2.3)

999 is the LDev number of the network printer and 172.1.2.3 is the IP
address.

Be sure to get rid of (or at least comment out) the global section.

If you set the printer default settings on the front panel to the settings
appropriate from the majority of your reports (e.g. Landscape -
compressed),. you will have 80% of the benefit for 20% of the work.
