This may be Rube Goldbergish, but I've had multiple sessions going before, each one setup to reset a different DTC, then run
around like mad pushing the return key and then simply disconnecting the lan connector off the back. You should have plenty
of time. If not, then copy your nmconfig file to a safe place, delete the DTC's you did successfully disconnect (see your console
for downloading messages), reboot, reconnect the lan and finish the rest. (Rube Goldberg be proud, you had a son!)

FYI, I checked DTCCNTRL and 5.0 doesn't have the moxie to shutdown the DTC's altogether. HOWEVER 5.5 does; perhaps a
:DTCCNTRL func=shutdown, forced=y       would do it?

My .02, YMMY and don't blame me if it doesn't work. Now did you say those pesky DTCs were in Hawaii? Be happy to go
reset them for you!
