I know this must have been asked before so here goes again.

I have a site that is on our Corporate WAN which needs to connect a
serial device (modem) to the 3000.  We thought DTC is the answer but I'm
told I must turn on bridging to get the configuration to download.
Since we are not in control of the corporate network and bridging would
increase the traffic, we would like to find another alternative to
supporting serial devices across the WAN.  Any suggestions would be
welcomed.
