True, but it only gives the first "hop" along the way.

To elaborate somewhat more completely, there is no traceroute on
MPE as traceroute requires, to some degree, some API to raw IP in
order to manipulate the TTL values in the packet.  This level of
packet manipulation has been sealed up in NetXport and inaccessible
to the user.

However, we did learn from ISO Bangalore at IPROF 99 that traceroute
was forthcoming.  This was met with applause as we thought it had
never made it into even the investigation stage.  Thus Joe's reply
of "sooner than you think".
