I too, based on Gavin's posting, bought an e-machine for my parents. (Is
Gavin getting a commission?)
The Best Buys and Circuit Citys around here were out of them, so I also
ordered it from Microwarehouse. They were out of 300mhz models, so I got
the 333mhz model. It cost $539 out-the-door, including tax and shipping.
This one worked right out of the box.
I am very impressed with this machine. It is making me regret the $1600
machine I bought a few months ago. I could have purchased the e-machine,
installed additional memory, a larger disk drive, and NT workstation, and
still have come out ahead.
