Tony,

I 'ran' into this a couple of months ago. It turns out that FTP opens the file
in 'mapped' mode and the indicated commands cannot determine the record being
accessed. I've had better luck with GLANCEXL and monitoring the files accessed
by the FTP process.

Does anyone know how I can monitor an FTP job (session) to see view it's
progress? For example, when executing MPEX's
"%LISTF <filename>,ACCESS" or "%SHOWPROC <#jobnum>;format=files" I can
tell exactly which record the process is reading/writing etc. The
problem is when executing either one of these commands for an FTP job or
session, this doesn't seem to work. I've looked at the FINFO function
and there doesn't seem to be any solutions there either. Does anyone
know of a solution??
Thanks in advance.
