Terminal emulators are software installed on a PC to emulate a dump terminal.
I've been trying out some terminal emulators, let me share my experience.
We used terminal emulators to access our HP3000 from a PC. Some are connected directly through serial port, while some connected through our local area network via NSVT.
We have been using Reflection from WRQ, and so far, it's working fine.
We also evaluated other terminal emulation software, but has found success only with Minisoft MS92.
Other software such as Teemtalk (Pericom), Netterm, Hostexplorer (Hummingbird) supports Telnet and direct serial connection, but not NSVT.
TTWIN from Turbosoft supports NSVT, but we faced some technical problems with function keys.
Anyone care to share your experience with terminal emulators?
