Gerry:
For our HP-UX 9.04 system, I modified our /usr/spool/lp/model/xxx
script as follows:
To set the user name on the display:
echo "@PJL JOB NAME = \"User: $user; Job: $jobid\" $STARTPAGE $ENDPAGE"
echo "@PJL RDYMSG DISPLAY = \"$user: `basename $fnamelist`\""
if [ "$debug" = "yes" ]
To reset the display at EOJ:
echo "@PJL RESET"
echo "@PJL RDYMSG DISPLAY = \"\""
echo "@PJL EOJ NAME = \"User: $user; Job: $jobid\"" # end-of-job,
The two "PJL RDYMSG" lines were added - the other lines show the
context. Our setup displays both the user's ID as well as the name of
the file.
Can't help you on the NT solution, though.
