You haven't asked for suggested improvements - but I'm going offer you a
couple anyway.
1. It would be really useful to know if a specific patch is included in a
powerpatch, and which one. For example, if I see a catalog of available
patches for 5.5, how do I know which ones have been released AFTER, say,
Powerpatch 5? I don't - without cross-referencing all the patches in the
catalog list with the ones listed in the Powerpath 5 manual.
2. If a patch has been superceded, I would like to know which patch
superceded it - information which is impossible to know via the ESC. For
example, I recall path id MPEKX99 (or something like it) that fixed a
directory error message at the console with respect to network print spool
files. This patch id no longer appears on the list of available patches in
the 5.5 catalog. It has obviuosly been superceded - but it's impossible to
find out by which patch or patches.
