 Professor Levine is a major contributor to feminist biblical criticism.
She is the author of "Women Like This": New Perspectives on Jewish Women in
the Greco-Roman World and is at work on a monograph entitled Threatened
Bodies: Women, Culture, Apocrypha.  At Vanderbilt Divinity School she
directs the Carpenter Program in Religion, Gender, and Sexuality.
