UTC Faculty:

The Performance Review Committee has been asked by the Faculty Council to
draft another performance review policy based on the various suggestions we
have received and to address the concerns in the original draft.

Please note this is a working draft that has not yet been edited by the
Handbook Committee, but because of time constraints we wanted everyone to
see it in progress.  We will also be sending you hard copies of the
material in case you can't open the various attachments.

Attachments include a letter about the second draft, one document comparing
the current faculty handbook copy and the new performance review issues,
another document comparing the proposed EDO/Annual Review Process and the
Continuous Performance Review Process, and a final sheet addressing
concerns expressed at the last full faculty meeting regarding the process.
In addition a new edited copy of the proposal in the proposed order of our
existing Faculty Handbook is attached.

The Performance Review Committee welcomes your comments and suggestions.
