If you want an old 486, I'd be happy to give you one or two.

However, you might look at the eMachines product line.

For $399 you get an 300 MHz, 32 MB, 2 GB, 20X CD-ROM, 8 MB video
machine (no monitor).

Gavin and I were impressed with the machine.

Or,

In the March 1999 Computer Shopper, page 88, is a 333 MHz AMD K6,
32 MB, 3.4 GB disk, 8 MB video, 36X CD-ROM, floppy, mouse, 10/100 LAN
for $428.
