I received a DAT along with, I believe, the 6.0 tape shipment from HP. I'm
not sure if the the CBT on the tape has been updated, but the tape is
labeled "Using the 900 Series HP3000 - Fundamental skills & Advanced
skills". Haven't loaded it on our sytem yet. I remember the two boxes you
speak of, but there were not any with this tape.

I found and contacted the editor of the IMAGE/3000 handbook, and her
name is Marguerite Russel.
She will subscribe to this mailing list soon, so you'll be able to
discuss the legal issues with her directly.
I also found the book somewhere in our office, and found another one
written by Michael C. Hornsby labelled "The TurboIMAGE textbook".
By the way both of these are excellent reference tools, but I'm still
looking for teaching material (tutorials and CBTs, etc.).
Also, does anyone knows about an update to the series "Using the 900
Series HP3000 - Fundamental skills & Advanced skills", a basic HP3K
tutorial published by HP in 1989 ? We have the tutorial boxes, but is
there any update ?

Stan, Bob, Steve, Alfredo, and the others (sorry, I don't have my
handbook in my hand :),
I don't know the legal issues involved between your group and Worldware,
but would it be possible to put the book on the web somewhere? As has
been shown from this list (with messages like this), it is a valuable
resource to the IMAGE user. It gets mentioned often, and the answer
from one of you generally is "Hey, I found two copies in my basement
yesterday. I'll send you one and want to keep the other for myself."
:) Pretty soon, y'all are going to run out of basements (or maybe not
even have one :).
If there aren't any legal issues, it sure would be nice to direct new
IMAGE users, such as Nick who asked the original question, to a web
site.
Just a suggestion (and BTW I just used mine week before last :).
