Hello Larry,
You can use "site" command to execute a "job script" on
the remote system. If "jscript" is your script on the
remote system, type the following command:
ftp> site stream jscript
Also, other "site-specific" commands are
SITE HELP : help-string giving the site-specific commands
SITE MPE/iX : to know whether the remote is MPE/iX
SITE BUILDPARMS file-name : to get the build-parms of a file
SITE USER_LABELS file-name [<no> : to get/set user labels of
a file
SITE TIMEOUT [num-secs] : to set the timeout on the remote
