Hi, Shawn
Sometime, I need some tool, Quiz code to convert SQL statement
So, I can call from ODBC processor to IMAGE(slow),
But, some of Quiz code is very hard to convert SQL statement.
G, I have to write translator or anyone already have this kind of tool.
Just my $.02

I spent a fair amount of time looking into this option of converting
powerhouse to another language, and it can be done. The development cost
is a bit pricey, and you would need at least 30 people lined up willing to
buy the process to make it cost effective. As long as it's a service and
not a product then there isn't much cognos can do about it because you are
leaving their code behind.

Surely, but if the new target was to a transition-only conversion to
another
lanquage instead of directly run the code, would there be the same legal
grounds to complain? (Yes, I know legal eagles can cost $$ even when
without
grounds.)
