Gavin's right ... NO is the default for the ENQ/ACK switch on the
terminals.  As I mentioned earlier, we set it at HP's behest, although the
original reason for that may have been overcome by subsequent system
improvements.  It hasn't hurt us to leave it set this way, AFAIK.  I'll
check with the HPRC for an update on this issue.

Oops, yes, there it is in the upper right corner of the config screen.  I
missed the ENQ/ACK field the first time.  On our 918DX it is set to NO
though.  I'm pretty sure ENQ/ACK=ON has always been the default for most
HP terminals (though XON/XOFF hasn't always defaulted to ON, and may only
default to ON in one direction these days) and I'm not aware of any
problem that would be caused because the ENQ/ACK field is set one way or
the other on an MPE/iX terminal, console or otherwise.
