        You are thinking of things like illegal ASCII digits and such. The error
you are receiving indicates that the FD in the program does not match the
physical file on disk. The 74 entry point would allow such discrepancies, the 85
entry point does not. Do a quick look at the code, then do a listf ,2 on your
file and you should find the problem.
