Maybe it's of an unknown record length until run-time. I wrote a
program that unloaded IMAGE datasets into flat files .... it used
DBINFO calls to decide how big to :BUILD the output record, but the
output record in the FD was set to the maximum size, so I almost
always got this error. The ANSI74 entry point is the way to go.

That may not be why this other fellow is doing it, but that's what I
needed it for. :)
