Also Vesoft, when using the BACKG job, has a simple yet effective job
scheduler. When I stream a job using STREAMX, not only can I use keywords
like AT= to specify a particular time, but I can also say REPEAT=WEEKDAYS to
have the job repeated every M-F from then on until I remove it from the
schedule. It sits out there as a #A job (which you can only see by doing a
showjob under MPEX). It could be enhanced ... like it would be nice to
setup a holiday file for days of the year you don't want jobs streamed.
Still, all in all, the price is right, since it comes with MPEX/STREAMX
which I already use all the time for other reasons.
