While I have enjoyed reading about other people's experiences with NT,
my own opinion has to be based on my own experience. I have only used
NT "in anger" for about the last 7 months and use it exclusively at
work while I have set up my home system as a dual-boot with Windows95
and NT. I find that I mostly use Windows95 at home, mainly because I
am more familiar with it. My NT system has been fine at work...as long
as I don't change anything! I plugged in a pair of speakers and
crashed the system. It took me 2 days to figure out what had caused
the problem (an old modem card/ sound card conflict) and rebuild the
system. NT is much less forgiving and the rebuild process is long and
tortuous, in my opinion. As I say, as long as nothing changes, it
works like a champ!

Just my $0.02.

Cheers,
John Dunlop
