I am in need of a graduate student who has an interest in urban issues
(urban geography, sociology, poverty studies, urban development).  The
applicant will need to provide a writing sample, resume (CV), and a list of
references.  I expect that the applicant will bring a basic knowledge of
research methodology and a willingness to learn.  The research that I need
assistance with is predominantly qualitative and employs a race, class,
gender perspective.  If you know of anybody who might be interested and
committed please tell them about this opportunity.  The student would be
provided the opportunity to co-author at least one manuscript as well as
