TCCY provides grants announces that focus on the following areas: 1)
reduction of minority overrepresentation in the juvenile justice system, 2)
prevention and intervention efforts for juvenile delinquency in
communities, 3) reduction
of gang acitivity in local areas, 4) improvement of juvenile court systems,
and 5) improvement of the state's juvenile justice system.

Those interested in applying for these funds should attend a grant
application training session to be held today (Thursday, February 11) at
1pm at Family and Children Services, 300 East 8th Street.  If you are
interested in this program  but can not attend this meeting, please contact
the Office of Grants and Program Review at 4431.  A representative from the
Grants Office will attend this meeting and will be happy to share a summary
with you.
