Sam D. Gill: "Shadow Play: A Javanese Inspired Theory of Dancing"
                (video and slide presentation)

Prof. Gill holds the Ph.D. in the history of religions from the University
of Chicago and currently teaches at the University of Colorado.  The author
of seven books on Native American religions, he is now focusing his work on
Australia and Southeast Asia, with a particular interest in the role of
dance in religious traditions.
