I am answering Patrick's question posed about the integrity of
the URL I had posted regarding a reference to a time variable.
The post was made almost two years ago by Wirt Atmar and after
tracking down the URL in the HP3000-L archives I will post it again.
I believe Wirt's observation should be incorporated into a new
system variable.
    The URL is:

http://raven.utc.edu/SCRIPTS/WA.EXE?A2=ind9701B&L=hp3000-l&D=0&H=&T=&O=&F=&P
=24420

All that was needed was the ">" character removed if the URL wraps around
