Howdy,

Somewhere today/tommorrow I will be sending off some stuff to Alfredo for
the ABC campain.
A piece of it will be this which I found floating about in my mail this
morning.
It is from a list member whom wishes anonimity so I post it without
creditation
nor comment.

Our shop is seriously considering off loading our Image Database to an
Oracle System on an
NT or Unix server.  In fact, it's a sure thing.

Problems I've run into justifying the HP3000 are:

1).  You never hear anything about the HP3000.  There are no job listings
posted in the
      newspaper for it.

2).  HP3000 reminds me "of the Honeywell system I worked on".

3).   Because of the above, no one wants to learn HP.  The future of the
HP3000 is questionable.
