That file is the TurboConnect file. It is a file that is created by the
program IMAGESQL when you ATTACH the TurboIMAGE database to a DBE. On the
DBE side, an ATC file is created.
If you do not have an attachment between the TurboIMAGE database and a DBE,
that file is not supposed to be there. So go into DBUTIL and display all
the settings: SHOW dbname ALL. Towards the bottom, it will show you if it
is attached to a DBE and which one. If there is no DBE, you can use DETACH
dbname in DBUTIL. This should purge the TC file.
If there is an attached DBE, then you have another challenge. Why is the
file in use?
Let us know what you find.
Kind regards,
Denys. . .

Subject: HELP! PRIV file Problem
Dear Listers:
I am running a 979 on 5.5 pp2. While running TurboStore with the FULLDB
option I encounter a message that says the one of the databases cannot be
stored because a file is open. I have proven that only the console and the
store job are running at the time. The file in question shows no
utilization, i.e. LISTF,2 shows no *. The file while having the first 6
characters of the DB name ends in TC not a numeric value as is usual for a
dataset. * TurboStore, however, sees it as in use.*
Even with SM and PM capability I can not copy, fcopy, release or do
anything
to the file without this error:
Unable to access file (CIERR 356).
Is there a way around this problem?
