With all of the changes in the MPE/iX environment, the concept of a
TurboImage database has been expanded to include TPI, B-trees, Jumbo
datasets, and other associated files that are REQUIRED to be present and in
sync with the root file in order for the database to be fully usable.

In your opinion, what constitutes an Image database beyond the root file,
datasets (including jumbo), TPI files, and B-tree files?

Is a copy of the schema required?
Any file associated with the database with a -4xx file code?
User log files?

I am looking at this problem from a backup/restore perspective. I would
like to determine a minimum set of files that must be backed up and
restored in order to recover a database in the event of some catastrophic
system failure.

I will summarize, anonymously, any responses received privately, and repost
them to the list.

Hopes this stimulates the brain cells on a Friday.

Thanks
