No!  Don't do it!  Do *not* set your prompt to have a ">" in it!  One minor
accident hitting the ENTER key instead of the RETURN is almost guaranteed (by
Murphy's law) to wipe out the most valuable, least-recently-backed-up file on
your system.

Been there, done that (in the POSIX shell, because of the stupid default
shell prompt of 'shell/iX> ').

(I've also been burned by my old habit of using "<RETURN>" to mean the RETURN
key.  The first time I used it in an "echo" statement...)
