Jim,

If I remember right, just press return a couple of times.  For a Ctrl B,
type in "CO", this returns you to the console.

I know this is probably a stupid question and I apologies for wasted band
width but here goes. How do you exit from the CRTL A if it is accidentally
issued at the console?

We are having a discussion about this and we cannot find anything in the
documentation about this.
