+AHw-You didn't mention what language you were using, but one likely scenario
+AHw-is that there's something wrong with your +ACI-result+ACI- parameter, either
+AHw-directly or indirectly. Make sure that you've declared IPCSHUTDOWN as an
+AHw-intrinsic (appropriate to the language you're using), and if you're
+AHw-omitting optional arguments, recount your commas.

I'm using SPL, Splash actually. Yes, I'm using the Intrinsic statement to
identify IPCSHUTDOWN, so I should be okay there.
I believe IPCSHUTDOWN is Option Variable, and the only required parameter is
the Descriptor. It is the only filed I am passing, and I'm not using extra
commas as place holders since the descriptor is the first parameter.
I have a few other NetIPC programs, and this is the only one that I have
seen manifest itself this way. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened to the
others, but I just haven't seen it.
For what it's worth, I'm connecting out from the HP 3000 to a Lotus Notes
SMTP MTA running on Windows NT.
