I was thinkin' the same sort of thing, except I might start by using LISTUSER !HPUSER.!HPACCOUNT to a temp file, look for the "LOGON CNT :" line, and check the number that's in the proper byte position. If I'm not mistaken -- and I'm sure someone will correct me if I am -- this has the disadvantage (or advantage, depending on perspective) of counting the user's jobs, as well as sessions.
