Get two if you intend to use them for longer than a day or so. They're
*very* unreliable. I have one that eats tapes whole, and another one that
chews them up first and then eats them. I use the latter one for
day-to-day operations since I can usually cajole it into giving the tape
back with just a wrinkle or two, as long as I promise it a full meal
later. (I feed it my old cleaning cartridges for full meals, since those
don't leave oxide residue on its teeth. I recently added another device
class for it; we now use
:FILE TAPE;DEV=AUDREY2
for backups. So far (knock on wood), it hasn't gotten any bigger.)
