Graphic Artists Needed to Produce License Plate Design

L.A.W. (Licenses for Animal Welfare) is seeking designs for an
animal-friendly specialty license plate. Revenue from the sale of the
plates will be used to stop pet overpopulation in Tennesee by helping
organizations who sponsor or provide low-cost spay and neuter programs.
In Hamilton County alone, approximately 12,000 unwanted animals are
killed each year. L.A.W. is a grassroots organization working to pass
legislation to give the citizens of Tennessee an opportunity to support
pet overpopulation control. The legislation is scheduled to be introduced
in the upcoming general assenbly session. Designs will be accepted from
amateur and professional designers of all ages. L.A.W. will consider all
designs with the final decision made by the commissioner of motor vehicles.
Please limit designs to 2 per person. All artwork must be camera ready.
Size requirements are 12" by 6" which are standard license plate
dimensions. All designs must be received by February 28, 1999.
