Joan Myers Brown,  executive/artistic director and founder of the
internationally acclaimed Philadelphia Dance Company (Philadanco) will
speak today, 10:50 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.,in the Chattanooga Rooms as part of
the 1999 Perspectives Series. Brown is also the founder of the
International Association of Blacks in Dance, the International Conference
of Black Dance Companies, and is a distinguished visiting professor at the
University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Please encourage your students,
friends and co-workers to attend.  ALSO TODAY, DON'T MISS:

Kathy Blum and Ann Rowson, of the UTC Southeast Center for Education in the
Arts, will conduct a participatory art and theatre workshop.
