First Things First, a local organization that promotes activities to
strengthen families, is contracting with Dr. Jim Fraser and Dr. Zibin Guo
of Sociology, Anthropology, and Geography.  Drs. Fraser and Guo
will design, implement, and analyze a television advertisement for
teenagers on the subject of sexual abstinence.  Alternative versions of the
advertisement will be piloted in focus group sessions at three Chattanooga
schools to determine the most influential format.
