The Department of Education is seeking qualified professionals to serve as
proposal reviewers for its Women's Educational Equity Act (WEEA) Program.
The purpose of this grant program is to promote gender equity in education,
especially for those women and girls who suffer from multiple forms of
discrimination based on race, ethnic origin, limited English proficiency,
disability, or age.

Serving as a reviewer not only allows you to network with other respected
professionals in your area of expertise but also provides an opportunity to
become familiar with the grant review process.  If you are interested in
applying for a WEEA grant in the future, serving as a reviewer enables you
access to "inside information" about the program's funding priorities.
