Good posting, but I expect that you will get responses similar to the responses that
I had when I protested, earlier this month, about Santa, etc. postings: "lighten up",
"go with the flow".

I hope that we are not going to have a spurt New Years postings. Yes, I
do realize
that for the vast majority of list participants, New Years has varying
levels of
importance, and I respect that. However, there are those of us for whom
New Years is
not our New Year, and we would prefer not encountering it on the
HP3000-L. Just for
the record, I would not find an acceptable solution to this annual
problem to find
New Years greetings for other calendars on the list. They do not belong
here either.
