Currently running a 997-800 with approximately 1200 users my CPU is about
80% saturated. Disc is ok and memory is ok. System performance is acceptable
at this point but in 6 months time I will need to do something. I am looking
at a client/sever type implementation where the 997-800 will become the
image database server and multiple 989-600s will be powering the front end.
My question stems from load balancing the front end systems. Any software
out that currently does this? I know I can develop procedures/program
in-house to do this but with my limited programming staff I am hoping
someone has a package available already.
