Might not be supported by HP but I have heard from one or two customers
who have integrated MQ Series (client code?) with their HP 3000 systems.
They did get the source, compile with c89 or gcc, and link to their own
COBOL programs, as far as I know...

Disclaimer #2: I have next to no technical knowledge regarding MQ Series.

PS: Sometimes I have the impression that the info about existing HP 3000
solutions is not always available easily, creating the perceiption that
such solutions would not exist. Do we need a joined effort to increase
the overall awareness of tools like Brian Duncombe's excellent "HP 3000
Product/Vendor Directory" at www.hp.com?
