Hi,

I was just re-reading part of "Beyond RISC!", and came across
an ironic note on page 12 in the chapter dealing with the confusion and
mismanagement of MPE release names/versions/datecodes/internal-names:

   Unfortunately, it is unlikely that a definitive naming system
   will be implemented soon.

That was in January, 1988.

Sigh....
