Any help on how to specify an FTP URL in the browser's URL box...
The machine I want to access is a HP3000 machine.


It has both account and group passwords. I want to get a file listing
of PUB.SYS directory.


According to the HTML specs, the format is

ftp://<UserName>:<Passwd>@<ServerName>:<PortNumber>/<FilePath>;TYPE=<TypeCode>

eg: [log in to unmask]:21/pub/users/file1.txt;type=a" target="_blank">ftp://myname:[log in to unmask]:21/pub/users/file1.txt;type=a


However I could not find, how to do the same with a HP3000.
