With all of the emphasis on e-commerce, I'm afraid that future legislation is
going to make it *easier* for spammers to ply their trade and "penalties" for
spamming will be reduced or even eliminated.

Except for tobacco, which the government is determined to banish from the face
of the earth, how successful have been any attempts to restrict TV or radio
advertising over the past 30 years?

My $0.02 worth!!!
