TITLE:                  Senior Technical Support Analyst - SUN SOLARIS

DEPARTMENT:             Implementation Services

REPORTS TO:             Director, Implementation Services



The Implementation Services team requires a Senior Technical Support Analyst
to help to port the INGENIUM Base MVS product to the SUN SOLARIS platform.
This includes the early release stage to implementation at the client site.
The successful candidate will have an aptitude for learning new technical
environments and can easily problem solve when faced with new challenges.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Convert and support the INGENIUM application to the SUN SOLARIS platform. ·
Integrate Application with "Best of Breed" complimentary software packages. ·
Participate and work with early release software programs. · Design and
develop application porting utilities. · Performs application installations
at client sites and provides client support for this platform. · Provide
limited technical consulting.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

· Knowledge of SOLARIS, ORACLE and COBOL
· Knowledge of CICS of similar OLTP would be an asset.
· Knowledge of Oracle and SOLARIS performance tuning.
· Familiarity with shell / scripting languages.
· Knowledge of INGENIUM would be an asset.
· Proven communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem solve.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Two years experience on the SUN SOLARIS platform.
· Two years experience with ORACLE on a UNIX platform.

NOTE: Limited travel will be required in this position
