We have run into similar problems.
You basically have two choices:
1. Redesign the form to somehow make it with within a 24x80 window.
2. Redesign the form so that you are still constrained by the 80 column
limit BUT allow the form to extend beyond he normal 24 lines a terminal
would display. We have done this with a number of our forms not only
because of the Y2K issues but also so that would could provide our users
with the ability to enter in additional information. Some of our forms are
now 36x80 long.
