The LX has two half-height (one full-height) NIO expansion slots. The RX has
four half-height (two full-height) NIO expansion slots. As Stan says, you
have to choose one or the other when you order a 918DX. The RX costs more,
and I believe has higher support costs, so if you think you should have an
LX, it's worth checking to make sure that you got what you ordered, and to
check that your support contract (if any) has the right thing on it.

Long ago in a past life we had a 925LX that turned out to have been listed
on the support contract as a 925 (no LX) for several years. HP ended up
paying us back something like $12,000 in overcharges when it was finally
discovered.
