When a file is texted "numbered", Quad thinks that the file has line numbers
in the last 8 columns of each record. The file that you are texting has
incorrect line numbers or, perhaps, is not a numbered file at all. It may be
that quad just thinks that it is numbered because it has ascii digits in the
last 8 columns of the first record.
You can text the file unnumbered by appending ":u" to the file name:
/t emasroll.same.prod:u
Then you can list the records to see what the line numbers look like.
Let me know.
