HP sent us our advance SW Maintenance invoice for the next upcoming
period today.

We politely reminded them that this service is supposed to include
documentation updates;
that we had switched to 'manuals on CD-ROM' from 'manuals on paper';
that we didn't seem to be getting this service any more
(which meant that HP had unilaterally varied our contract);
and wondered why they wanted the same or more money for a lesser
service.
