The most powerful argument against this is probably only one page long:
Bill Watterson's 'Calvin and Hobbes' cartoon in which Spaceman Spiff
finds his ship's control panel has a Windows interface, and thus goes
down ignominiously in combat with the Zorgnaks (or whatever they are),
unable to fire a single shot.
Post that somewhere and watch IT-21 unravel :-)
